Urge Your Representative to Cosponsor Working Families Tax Relief Act

From the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (http://www.cbpp.org):

Ask your representative to cosponsor the Working Families Tax Relief Act (H.R. 3157), which would expand the federal Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit for 1 in 3 Americans. This is the exact same bill that was introduced by Senators Brown, Bennet, Durbin, and Wyden in April (S 1192) and received support from all but one Democratic senator. Our toolkit on this bill has everything you need to take action now that there’s a House version of the bill, including talking points and new state-by-state data and social media content that you can use to draw attention to this bill around July Fourth. As with the Senate version of the bill, Republican support is not expected for this bill, but we’ll share information down the road about building bipartisan support to expand these tax credits.
