Urge Congress to Block Citizenship Question in Census 2020

From Faith in Public Life (http://www.faithinpubliclife.org):

Just now, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of inclusion and justice by rejecting the racist citizenship question the administration attempted to add to the 2020 census. This is a huge win for human dignity and our democracy!

However, there is still a chance that the question may be included – the fight will continue in lower courts. But Congress has the power to get the job done now. Sign the letter at http://fpl.actionkit.com/sign/census_citizenship_idea today to urge Congress to block the citizenship question! Equal political representation and fair distribution of federal funds for our communities is on the line.

The census is a matter of justice, equity and human dignity. People of faith must press Congress to do everything in its power to block the citizenship question from the 2020 census. Please sign the letter to Congress now.

We all count in God’s eyes, and we must all be counted in the eyes of our government. Join today in acting for justice so all our communities can thrive.
