Tell PA Legislators to End the Unjustified Ballot Review

From Common Cause (http://www.commoncause.org):

After two years, almost half a million wasted dollars, and a total lack of findings, Republicans in the Pennsylvania legislature are still trying to discredit the results of the 2020 election.

They’ve just extended their sham ballot review by another six months – with no dollar figure attached to the contract to tell us how much of our taxpayer money they’re going to commit to this.

It’s ridiculous: we can’t keep spending time, money, and resources on a totally unjustified sham ballot review designed to undermine faith in our elections and win political points for extremists.

Sign the Petition at https://act.commoncause.org/petitions/stop-spending-pennsylvanians-money-on-a-sham-election-review: The 2020 elections were safe and secure, and Pennsylvania resources cannot continue to go to a costly and partisan sham ballot review.

The legislators in charge of this ballot review haven’t reported any findings yet – but they have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and threatened the privacy of every Pennsylvania voter.

We’re still in court over their absurd attempt to subpoena our private information. We’re facing a legislature that wants to turn over our personal information to a third party contractor that is completely unqualified to be reviewing an election.

But here’s the truth: these legislators know that our election results are valid. They were elected to office on the same ballots they’re trying to review. Continuing this sham review is entirely about keeping themselves in power by feeding politically-motivated lies and extremism and undermining our democracy.

We deserve leaders that are delivering for us, not preserving their own power at our expense. Add your name today to demand an end to this costly and ridiculous sham ballot review.

Thank you for signing this petition today — and for doing your part to fight back against these politically motivated attempts to discredit our votes.
