Support Funding for Neighborhood Assistance Programs

posted in: Human Needs, Uncategorized | 0

The Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) helps our members and others strengthen communities. Unfortunately, the funding has not increased since 1967!

Now, imagine doubling the amount of NAP tax credits from the current $18 million to $36 million. Pennsylvania House Bill 2213 would do just that!

Please voice your support for NAP and HB 2213 by clicking here to send a letter to your state representative.

NAP provides state tax credits to corporations that donate to nonprofit organizations working to improve their communities. Pennsylvania can be proud that it led the way in creating these successful public-private partnerships by enacting NAP back in 1967. Now it’s time to double the funding.

It is time to expand this very successful program to help more Pennsylvanians. Please act now to provide more funding for our communities.

PACDC would like to thank People’s Emergency Center (PEC) and the Housing Alliance of PA for this content.
