Detaining families is abusive, but in addition to that we have seen documented case after case of medical neglect and miscare in the Berks County Detention Center.
Governor Wolf’s office and the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services have stated that there are no grounds for an emergency removal order. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. Here’s just a few examples of what’s happened in the immigrant family prison in Pennsylvania.
