The World Communion of Reformed Churches will be hosting its 26th General Council in Germany in 2017. The WCRC has invited the PCUSA to nominate Stewards for the Council. Our office can contribute $500 for travel costs, we’re encouraging potential Stewards to also seek funds from the local/presbytery level as well.
Additionally, nominations for the Eugene Carson Blake Scholarship are being accepted until November 30 2016 for the 2017-2018 academic year for students wishing to attend the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey, Switzerland. Students wishing to attend would need to have completed, or be close to completing their seminary degrees or have a four year degree in religion/theology.
While this information is specifically directed at Presbyterians, anyone associated with the WCRC should be eligible—check with your denomination.
