Have an In-District Conversation With Your PA Legislators About Gun Violence This Month

From CeaseFirePA (http://www.ceasefirepa.org):

This weekend saw mass shootings in California, New York, and Pennsylvania. The victims and locations of these events look different. But the trauma and pain that came from them are the same.

Right now, the PA State Legislature is on recess for the summer. This means your Senators and Representatives are back in the districts. Now is the time to call their district offices or set up a meeting to discuss gun violence prevention legislation. This may sound intimidating, but it’s actually very easy. Just reach out and ask to set up a meeting to discuss gun violence.

If you need help finding your legislators go to http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/home/findyourlegislator/index.cfm#address.

The legislators have much more time when they’re home in the district, and they need to hear from us. Please, take the time for an important conversation, and please let us know how your meeting goes.
