A bombshell of an article was published this morning in Politico, reinforcing what we’ve suspected all along: administration officials have disregarded scientific facts at multiple stages in their rush to sell oil and gas lease sales in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
Thanks to your support, the League along with our partners worked diligently to provide information and potential sources to Politico for this article to help illuminate the careless steps the administration has taken in order to get Arctic Refuge leases into the hands of oil companies. Among these sources was Pat Pourchot, Vice President of the League’s board of directors, who was interviewed directly for the story.
