Last week marked the 56th anniversary of Medicare & Medicaid and PHAN has been celebrating all week.
On Tuesday, we used our weekly Policy Corner to talk about why both programs are important and what helpful reforms are being considered by Congress right now.
On Wednesday, Sen. Casey joined us for a town hall to tell us why he is fighting for funds to expand home- and community- based services, which allow seniors and people with disabilities to get the care they need in their homes.

H.R. 3 is groundbreaking legislation that will give Medicare the ability to negotiate with pharmaceutical companies, lowering the price of prescription medications for everyone. It’s time for our lawmakers to step in, and take action. Please take just a minute to call your US House Representative to encourage her/him to co-sponsor H.R. 3. If your Representative is already a co-sponsor, you’ll be able to thank him/her for standing up for their constituents.
