How Can People of Faith Build Our Future Together: An Interfaith Remembrance of September 11, 2001—September 11, Harrisburg

When:  September 11, 2011, 2:00 p.m.

Where:  St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral, 221 North Front Street, Harrisburg

 

Central Pennsylvanians of all religious and philosophical perspectives are invited to hear Imam Yahya Hendi, Chaplain and Professor at Georgetown University, discuss how people of faith can build our future together. Imam Hendi’s theme talk will be followed by a panel discussion and reception at 3:00 p.m. considering two topics:

 

  • How does your faith deal with extremists in your faith?
  • How do we build a hopeful future together?

Presented by the Interfaith Alliance of Pennsylvania and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral.
