Write a Letter to Support the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative

From PennEnvironment (http://www.pennenvironment.org):

By writing to your local newspaper, posting on social media, making a phone call or by signing a petition you are engaging in the political system and encouraging others to do the same.

See the link below for an updated letter writing guide about the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). At this time we are waiting for all the public comments to be reviewed by the PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) but it is still important that we raise visibility of this program throughout the state. See also a link to a letter writing party on April 7th at 5:00pm on Zoom if you want to work on these letters together.

The monthly volunteer meeting is coming up on 3/31 at 6pm on Zoom! We are going to spend most of the meeting in regional break out groups. We’ll spend the first part of the meeting talking about Earth Day and share earth day events from other organizations and see how we can raise the visibility of some local events, so keep an eye out to see what other groups are doing. We will also start planning recruitment for our annual Climate Action Lobby Day (which will be held virtually on June 10th).
