Still Waiting for the Judge’s Ruling on Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline/Weekly Prayer at #CornfieldChapel

From Lancaster Against Pipelines (http://www.wearelancastercounty.org/):

A week has now passed since the “quick take” hearings drew to a close for five Lancaster County landowners in Reading, Pennsylvania. Through this process, Williams is seeking to take immediate possession of land from local property owners who are challenging the company’s “right” to seize their land, against their will, to construct the Atlantic Sunrise export pipeline.

As you know, the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, an order of Catholic women who are opposed to this pipeline on religious principle, are among the landowners committed to keeping Williams off our land—and out of our communities.

While awaiting the judge’s decision, the Adorers of the Blood of Christ welcome local residents to join them in prayer at the outdoor chapel located on their land, directly in the proposed path of the pipeline. The address is 3939 Laurel Run in Columbia, PA 17512.

Starting today at the chapel, the Sisters will hold evening prayers every Thursday at 7 PM, and morning prayers every Tuesday at 8 AM. Friends and supporters are welcome to join in these prayers to #StandWithTheSisters against corporate greed and environmental exploitation.

Additionally, Lancaster Against Pipelines will be hosting a public vigil at the chapel every Sunday at 6 PM for communal prayer, celebration, and song. Together—united in courage and conviction—let’s stop this pipeline and keep Williams’ greedy hands off our land, water, and children’s future.

See you at the chapel!
