Sign Up for Constituent Visit on Redistricting; Become an Influencer

From Fair Districts PA (http://www.fairdistrictspa.com):

March toward Transparency is off to a strong start. If you missed the LACRA Next Steps Town Hall, you can find the video of the event here.

As volunteers, advocacy advisors and legislators made clear: personal advocacy is by far the most effective way to encourage action from PA legislators.

We are well on our way to arranging visits with every PA legislator, but we’re not quite there yet. Captains are setting up Zoom meetings and getting materials ready, but we still have some districts with no, or just one or two, volunteers. We’d like to have at least three for every legislative meeting.

You can do this from the comfort of your home! Training, a team and digital materials are provided.

As some of our volunteers said at the town hall, legislative visits are easy, empowering and effective.

despite continuing social distancing.

If you’re on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, be a Fair Districts PA influencer.

Algorithms on those platforms give preference to posts with most engagement. On Facebook, adopt a local page or two and visit daily to comment, share, tag other groups or just post an emoji. Find out where we have local groups, then look up their Facebook page. Pages in rural counties are most in need of your activity.

On Twitter and Instagram, like and share. Just a simple retweet can keep a post visible long after it’s posted.
