Send a Valentine E-Postcard to Governor Shapiro to Say Pennsylvania is Worth Protecting

PENNSYLVANIA IS WORTH PROTECTING. That’s the theme of an e-postcard campaign the Better Path Coalition and Pennsylvania Climate Convergence Network are launching in February.

Each week, we’re asking you to send a different Valentine’s-themed e-postcard to Governor Shapiro and the legislature. The postcard photos are drawn from the submissions to the Worth Protecting book we received from people across the state. The photos depict the people, pets, and places that are worth protecting from climate change and environmental devastation.

Week 1’s postcard, submitted by Victoria Switzer of Dimock, will target Governor Shapiro only. It calls on him to reinstate the ban on drilling in Dimock. Earlier this month, we worked with Food & Water Watch to deliver a letter and petition calling on him to act on Day 1, but he didn’t. He didn’t even respond. So first postcard is urging him, once again, to reinstate the ban.

The postcards that follow will be sent each Tuesday to coincide with both Valentine’s Day and the Worth Protecting delivery we’ve scheduled for February 28th. If you’d like to participate in the delivery, please let us know by filling out this short form.
