Urge Your PA Senator to Take Action on Prescription Drug Prices in January

From the Pennsylvania Health Access Network (http://www.pahealthaccess.org):

Bad news. The PA Senate in Harrisburg has wrapped up for the year, and they left without doing anything to lower the cost of prescription drugs.

While they delay, families are still having to choose between the cost of their medications and the cost of food, housing, and utilities. 1 in 5 are skipping doses, cutting pills in half, or leaving medications at the pharmacy.  And prescription drug prices go up each January….

Can you take a few minutes to reach out to your PA Senator in Harrisburg and let him/her know you expect them to take action on prescription drugs when they return in January?

Go to https://pahealth.salsalabs.org/fairrxpaaction/index.html to use our online tool to send a message to your PA Senator or to make a call directly to your PA Senator at https://pahealth.salsalabs.org/lowerrxcosts/index.html.

Remember, it’s most effective if you add your own message about why high prescription drug prices matter to you.

We’ll be in touch in January with more actions you can take.
