Tell the Governor and General Assembly Training/Funding on Sanitary Practices Needed to Reopen Child Care Facilities

From Pre-K for PA (http://www.prekforpa.org/):

In Week 2 – over 1,500 advocates sent nearly 5,000 messages to PA policymakers. Your voice continues to make a difference!

Our week #3 message emphasizes the cleaning support early learning programs need to reopen.

We know providers want to ensure families that their facilities are safe when children are able to return.

In order to instill that confidence, all early learning program staff must receive training and providers must receive funding to support those cleaning efforts.

Without efforts such as these, thousands of child care, pre-k and Head Start providers will be unable to re-open, significantly impacting Pennsylvania’s economic recovery.

Go to https://secure.everyaction.com/4gNrUYEmbkq7ktqtmnsJbA2 to urge the Governor and General Assembly to require every child care, Pre-K Counts and Head Start program to attend free training on sanitizing practices AND to provide the funding necessary to implement cleaning efforts before re-opening.
