Americans deserve to be 100% confident that our elections are secure and accurate. But nearly 3 years after we uncovered Russia’s attempts to interfere with our election systems — we still haven’t taken the necessary steps to prevent another attack.
We can fix that with the SAFE Act, which will modernize our election systems and add crucial safeguards to make sure we can trust the results. The SAFE Act would require states to use paper ballots, verify results with risk-limiting audits, and provide funding for 21st-century voting machines.
