Tell Scott Pruitt: Stop Trying to Roll Back Methane Standards

posted in: Environment, Uncategorized | 0

From the Clean Air Council (http://www.cleanair.org/):

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt is at it again trying to block the EPA from protecting Americans from harmful oil and gas pollution.  EPA recently opened a public comment period on what it is calling “notices of data availability,” which are really re-proposals of EPA’s unlawful suspension of oil and gas methane pollution standards.  There is no justification for these notices, and any attempt to suspend methane controls will put families at risk.

Tell Scott Pruitt to stop his attempts to roll back methane standards.  Submit your public comment now at http://salsa4.salsalabs.com/o/51176/p/dia/action4/common/public/?action_KEY=23716.

Once again, Scott Pruitt is acting directly on behalf of the worst actors in the oil and gas industry by working to roll back cost-effective pollution standards.

We must hold the EPA accountable.  Please add your voice now.
