Tell the President to Protect Our Climate, Not Oil Company Profits

From the Alaska Wilderness League (http://www.alaskawild.org):

You know what’s scary this Halloween? Oil company quarterly profits! With families paying sky-high prices and our planet burning, Big Oil execs are pocketing record profits(1) and funneling millions to pro-oil politicians.(2)

Tell President Biden to give no more public lands to oil companies gouging the American public for record profits at https://secure.alaskawild.org/a/willowbiden. He needs to stick to his climate promises and stop Willow in its tracks.

The White House’s recently released National Strategy for the Arctic Region(3) promises that “the U.S. government will partner with Alaskan communities and the State of Alaska to build resilience to the impacts of climate change, while working to reduce emissions from the Arctic[.]”

The Willow project does exactly the opposite. One of the best ways to reduce emissions in the Arctic is to reduce drilling operations – not add more climate-killing extraction.

Tell President Biden: Stop Willow and protect our climate, not oil company profits.

It’s time to make good on climate promises and move our country forward with clean energy solutions.

Thank you for your continued engagement on this important issue, and for all you do to protect wild Alaska.
