We need a bold reconciliation package from Congress that addresses the climate crisis in a way that supports good-paying, sustainable jobs here in Pennsylvania.
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law passed by Congress in November was a significant down payment for our climate plan. But the investments included in the $555 billion clean energy and climate reconciliation proposal remain critical to a successful economic future for Pennsylvanians, and will fulfill President Biden’s commitment to coal mining and power plant communities in the clean energy transition.
Every second we delay action on climate, justice and jobs, the cost of inaction increases. We need to move swiftly to pass the historic $555 billion for investments in climate, justice and jobs. Climate can’t wait. We need these investments now.
