Pennsylvania dropped this year from 44th to 45th in state education funding.
But there’s something you can do right now to stop the drop.
You read that right. Somehow, we got worse!
The good news is that despite the pandemic we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to change how we fund Pennsylvania’s schools. Over the next few days legislators will agree on a state budget that could include an increase to public education of more than $1 billion with no tax increase for you!
We need you to push your legislators to push their leaders to meet the Governor’s request of $1.15 billion for our schools and vote for the future of our children’s education.
If there’s ever been a time to fight for our kids’ future, it’s now! We’ve never had an opportunity like this to invest in our schools. We need your help now to push your legislators to pass a budget and laws that work for our kids.
