The climate crisis is here, knocking down our door. It’s telling us that we have to act now before it’s too late. If we don’t, we’ll experience extreme devastation and loss that we simply won’t be able to simply go back and fix.

In December 2021, the U.S. House of Representatives voted for more than $500 billion in climate and environmental investments as part of the Build Back Better Act, but it was stalled in the Senate.

- Speed the transition to clean energy and tackle the climate crisis.
- Modernize our water infrastructure and replace more lead pipes.
- Ensure that disadvantaged communities and those who have experienced outsized burdens from pollution and climate change benefit equitably from new programs.
These investments will help hard-hit communities breathe cleaner air, access safe and affordable drinking water, and secure good-paying clean energy jobs.
