EPI’s Josh Bivens and Hunter Blair submitted testimony to the House Ways and Means Committee’s Tax Policy Subcommittee regarding the effects of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). Bivens and Blair find that the TCJA will boost incomes for the already-rich while doing nothing to help raise the wages of typical American workers—and that it will likely increase incentives to offshore production and profits of American firms.
