Tell Congress: Support the Restoring Justice for Workers Act

From the Economic Policy Institute (http://www.epi.org/):

This week is the one year anniversary of the 5-4 Supreme Court ruling in Epic Systems vs. Lewis―a decision that will effectively force the vast majority of U.S. workers to sign away their rights.

A new report by EPI and the Center for Popular Democracy projects that in just five years, over 80 percent of private sector, non-union workers will be forced to sign away their right to take their employer to court when their employer violates their rights under the law.

But there is a way to begin to shift the balance of power back to working people. Tell Congress to immediately pass the Restoring Justice for Workers Act, which would ban mandatory arbitration and class and collective action waivers.

Join us and call on Congress to immediately pass the Restoring Justice for Workers Act at https://epipolicycenter.org/restoring-worker-justice/ to protect workers’ rights and ensure a more fair process for resolving work-place disputes and discrimination.
