The moment has come, and we’re thrilled to announce that President Obama has chosen to protect Arctic Ocean waters from oil drilling in his five-year-plan!
This decision gives all who rely on clean Arctic Ocean waters to survive reason to celebrate, including people, polar bears, walrus, and seals. It will protect marine mammals from additional noise and oil spill pollution. And, it will help slow the negative impacts of climate change on our Arctic “air conditioner” that regulates the planet’s temperature.
