Support PA Legislation for Energy Efficient Appliances

From PennEnvironment (http://www.pennenvironment.org):

PennEnvironment joined Pennsylvania State Representatives Wendi Thomas (Bucks County) and Jennifer O’Mara (Delaware County) to use National “Cut Your Energy Costs” Day as an opportunity to remind people that energy efficiency and conservation are the best ways to reduce your energy consumption (and therefore energy cost!). We also want to remind the public that by improving energy efficiency, we also reduce our carbon footprints!

So we created a short 1-minute video with the representatives to showcase their leadership as the lead sponsors to legislation in the General Assembly to use existing technologies to increase energy efficiency for nearly a dozen commonly-used appliances that are bought and sold in Pennsylvania.

We had a really great response to the video, so we wanted to share it with you and hope you’ll check it out and post it to your own page and pass it along to others who want to promote energy conservation as a simple way to reduce climate and air pollution.

The video also includes a link to an easy action that concerned Pennsylvanians can take to support Reps. Thomas’s and O’Mara’s legislation (House Bill 2136). You can find the action at https://pennenvironment.webaction.org/p/dia/action4/common/public/?action_KEY=35900

Thanks for helping to support and spread the word about Reps. Thomas’s and O’Mara’s efforts, and promoting energy efficiency in Pennsylvania!
