With so much at stake, it’s crucial that states like Pennsylvania take the lead to rein in climate pollution. That’s why some of our best climate champs in the Pennsylvania state senate are proposing to set mandatory limits on the amount of global warming pollution from some of Pennsylvania’s worst sources.

Tell your state senator to support this proposal today at https://pennenvironment.webaction.org/p/dia/action4/common/public/?action_KEY=34512.

Recently, a bipartisan group of state senators announced new legislation that will limit the amount of carbon pollution allowed by the state’s largest climate polluters.

This proposal is Senate Bill 15, the “Energy Innovation and Investment Act” and it would eliminate climate pollution from Pennsylvania’s dirty power plants by 2050. This “cap and invest” policy caps emissions, makes polluters pay for their global warming pollution, and invests more money into programs that will help Pennsylvania residents and businesses reduce our own carbon footprint.

Ask your state Senator to cut pollution and accelerate our transition to clean energy.

There’s no time to waste. To tackle climate change, we have to eliminate our global carbon pollution within a matter of decades.1 And it’s crucial that Pennsylvania helps to lead the way.
