Add Your Name: Stop the Needless Review of the 2020 Election in Pennsylvania

From Common Cause (http://www.commoncause.org):

Some members of the PA legislature are still raising concerns about the 2020 election.

Those behind this scheme are now holding hearings in the Senate Intergovernmental Relations Committee. The Committee has refused even basic transparency about how the process for spending taxpayer dollars funding this effort. However, efforts are pressing forward to obtain confidential voter information based on a party-line vote.

That’s unacceptable – too much public money has been and is being spent in these fruitless attempts to invalidate the results of an election that time after time has been shown to be one of the most secure elections ever.

If you don’t want your money going towards this effort aimed at destroying confidence in our democracy, consider adding your name to our petition now to ask the Senate to put an end to these hearings at https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/add-my-name-stop-the-sham-review-of-the-2020-election/.

This Committee’s hearings are the latest attempt to copy the Arizona GOP’s embarrassing attempt to overturn their state’s election result — which destroyed ballots and voting machines, and spread lies meant to undermine voters’ faith in our election system along the way.

Three other committees have already held hearings on the 2020 election results — all taxpayer funded, and none finding anything wrong. But that hasn’t stopped Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman from asking this newest committee to issue subpoenas for the Department of State and our voter registration system. [1]

In the middle of a surging pandemic, our politicians need to focus on helping actual Pennsylvanians, instead of re-litigating a settled, verified, and fair election.

Pennsylvanians shouldn’t be forced to subsidize this unnecessary effort. Sign our petition now to call on the Senate to stop these hearings.

Our state Senators should not be wasting public resources on rehashing the 2020 election. We need our politicians to get back to work for us, and address the real problems facing Pennsylvania.

Republicans are determined to undermine our democracy by casting doubt on our democratic institutions…including most of all the ballot box and the concept of free and fair elections. Without a shred of evidence. This is nothing short of treason. Republicans want to replace a liberal democracy with an authoritarian state where the minority (GOP) imposes its will on the majority.

Stop wasting precious time a d taxpayers money seeking to review an election that was both fair and free of any wrongdoing.

The sham audit in Arizona cost the tax payers thousands of dollars. The only irregularities here were votes for Trump. Do tax payers have any say?
