Calling Interfaith Voices to Stand with Yemeni and Somali TPS Holders

From the Catholic Legal Immigration Network (https://cliniclegal.org/):

The administration’s decision on Temporary Protected Status for Yemen is due Jan. 3 and decision for Somalia is due Jan. 17. As Yemen and Somalia remain among the world’s worst humanitarian crises, the maximum TPS protection — an 18-month extension and redesignation — is warranted for both countries.

MM, a Yemeni TPS holder says: “Look at what is happening there [in Yemen]. There is nothing to eat. It is not safe. People die every day, especially in the city I came from. Without TPS, I would be lost. Please try to put yourself in my position. We are human. We are all the same. What could happen to me today maybe could happen to you tomorrow.”

At this critical moment, we are calling on interfaith organizations and leaders to sign on to the letters below to urge the administration to protect TPS holders and those who would benefit from redesignation. Join the interfaith movement for TPS today!
