The legislature is once again attacking important environmental funding.
By investing in land and water conservation, green spaces, and recreation, these funds provide investments that not only improve our environment — they make lasting improvements in communities across the Commonwealth.
It makes little sense to limit new state expenditures on conservation when the COVID-19 outbreak has caused countless Pennsylvanians to flock to our parks and forests.
Tell your state senator to vote NO on the current version of HB 1822.
As we begin to discuss investments in our hard-hit economy, we should not attack the incredibly productive investments in environmental infrastructure that have time and again proven their environmental and economic benefits to Pennsylvanians.
