Sisters Stand Against the Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline

From Lancaster Against Pipelines (http://www.wearelancastercounty.org/):

On Sunday afternoon more than 300 residents stood with Catholic sisters to dedicate an outdoor Prayer Arbor planted directly in the path of a fracked-gas pipeline. Williams corporation intends to seize the Sisters’ land against their will to build the Atlantic Sunrise project, a dangerous 42 inch high pressure pipeline that will cut through 37 miles of Lancaster County. Residents and the Adorers of the Blood of Christ were joined on Sunday by a delegation of sisters from the Kentucky-based Loretto Community who successfully defeated Williams’ plans for a pipeline in 2014.

And today, thanks to your hard work and committed support, the Lancaster Newspaper Editorial Board came out against the Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline! They wrote, “We’re not going to bet against nuns. They always have a prayer.”

Thank you to everyone who came out to #StandWithTheSisters!
