From the Interfaith Immigration Coalition (http://www.interfaithimmigration.org):

Members of Congress are currently putting together funding bills for Fiscal Year 2022. This includes funding for the U.S. resettlement program and resources for local communities to help refugees integrate and thrive. As we rebuild the resettlement program, in the midst of the worst displacement crisis in history and the global COVID-19 pandemic, it is vital that the administration and U.S. communities, including faith communities ready to welcome refugees, have the capacity they need to help refugees and asylum seekers integrate and thrive.
Funding needs are projected to increase substantially next year, which means it is that much more important for constituents to make their voices heard to Members of Congress. We invite faith leaders and faith organizations across traditions to sign this important letter calling for robust funding for refugees, asylum seekers, and unaccompanied children in FY22.
