But We Need People Like YOU To Make It Happen
These last four years people from across the state of Pennsylvania have come together to create a movement. A movement that fights for human rights and knows that there is never a humane way to incarcerate, separate or deport a family. And right now, we are in a critical moment, not only for this campaign, but for this nation. Together, we need to push back against the unending attacks on immigrants by ICE and the Trump administration.
Two weeks ago the federal government announced it wants to establish indefinite family detention while also denying vaccinations to those in their custody. This is flat out ethnic cleansing.
And we know that if these policies are allowed to go into place the federal government could make the argument that states no longer have jurisdiction over facilities like Berks.
Now, more than ever, we need Governor Wolf, Lt. Governor Fetterman and Secretary Miller to stop denying their responsibility and take action now.
An Emergency Removal Order must be issued before October 22nd, 2019
That is why we need those who have been a part of this movement to take action across the state the next 40 days. From texts to lobby visits, from letters to protests, we need the power of the people to be seen, heard and respected by Wolf administration.
