From the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center (http://www.pennbpc.org):

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center released a complete analysis of Governor Tom Wolf’s proposed 2018-19 budget.

The full report can be downloaded here.

“Governor Wolf has presented another austere budget that, within the political limits of Harrisburg, makes progress on issues critical to Pennsylvanians. But because of those political limits – and through no fault of the governor – it does not make fast enough progress,” said Marc Stier, Director of the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center and co-author of the report.

Stephen Herzenberg, Executive Director of the Keystone Research Center, and Diana Polson, Policy Analyst at the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center, co-authored the analysis with Stier.

The report presents a detailed analysis of Governor Wolf’s proposal for all overarching areas of state government and a more general explanation of the current state of PA government finances.

The Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center will continue to offer analysis of budget-related proposals as budget hearings and negotiations continue.
