From the Economic Policy Institute (http://www.epi.org/):
Each year, millions of low- and middle-income people work long hours without receiving the overtime pay they deserve. And now, the Trump administration is siding with the Chamber of Commerce over working people. They’re trying to undo a rule that benefits 12.5 million working people.
But thanks to the EPI Policy Center’s national grassroots network, we’ve already submitted nearly 10,000 comments to the Department of Labor―telling DOL to maintain the overtime rule, which makes 4.9 million working people newly eligible to receive the overtime pay they deserve, and strengthening the rights of 7.6 million more.

Last year, under President Obama, the Department of Labor raised the overtime salary threshold from $23,660 to $47,476, which would cover about 34 percent of full-time salaried employees. But in a blatant attempt to try and roll back this rule, Donald Trump’s DOL has opened up a “Request for Information” comment period.
Together we’re demanding an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.
