Please Sign Refugee Postcard & Help Spread the Word

From the Interfaith Immigration Coalition (http://www.interfaithimmigration.org):

In the lead up to the refugee summits organized by both the United Nations General Assembly and President Obama, more than 40 organizations have developed a postcard to be delivered to Congress and President Obama urging the U.S. to lead by example.

The postcard can be signed electronically at http://bit.ly/refugeepostcard, and can also be printed off to have people sign at events. Please share the electronic postcard your online networks, AND print off a bunch of copies to encourage your “In Real Life” friends to sign too! The postcard will also be used during the DCRally4Refugees (http://dcrally4refugees.org/) in Washington, DC on August 28th.

We encourage you to go to http://www.refugeesarewelcome.org/get-involved/ to print off copies and get them signed by your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and event attendees. There are two designs, so feel free to use whichever you like best. Please package all the signed cards together and mail them to 110 Maryland Avenue, NE, Suite 110, Washington, DC, 20002 by September 12th so they can be delivered all together.

Please help us spread the word and get as many postcards in as possible, both electronically and as hard copies!
