PICC is hiring a Political Director! The Statewide Political Director will lead PICC’s efforts to increase the political power of immigrant and refugee communities to pass policies at the local and state level. This will include cultivating and educating legislative champions that will publicly support pro-immigrant and pro-refugee issues, building relationships with political leadership, educating and engaging progressive allies to build alignment on issues that impact immigrant and refugee communities, and building the capacity of community-based organizations to engage in strategic and sustained political advocacy on issues and legislation that directly impact their communities. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in community organizing and/or policy advocacy, demonstrate a flexible and team-oriented approach to problem solving, and be excited about building political power for immigrant communities in Pennsylvania.
