Tell Our Senators: Don’t Let the Senate Undo 40 Years of Public Health Policy

From the Clean Air Council (http://www.cleanair.org/):

We asked Clean Air Council supporters to stand against the Trump Administration’s “regulatory reform” agenda and our members took notice, sending thousands of comments to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Now some senators are taking up a bill that will roll back over 30 years of progress protecting public health and fighting climate change. Go to http://salsa4.salsalabs.com/o/51176/p/dia/action4/common/public/?action_KEY=22831 to tell your senators to vote against this dangerous bill.

Senate Bill 1460 (S. 1460) seeks to undo over 40 programs, plans, reports and laws aimed at protecting us and our environment. This bill is a gift to corporate polluters and a literal denial of decades of work toward a healthier, more sustainable nation. The Trump administration and its allies in the Senate have confirmed their head-in-the-sand approach to climate science by considering a bill that will repeal studies of residential energy efficiency standards, national coal policy, the socioeconomic impacts of increased coal production and other energy development, the use of petroleum and natural gas in combustors, and energy subsidies.

Don’t let the Senate undo an entire generation of public health policy. We have simply come too far.
