The June 17 New York Times Magazine featured a major article on Drone Warriors, which includes references to a number of experts who spoke at one or more of the 13 Regional Conferences on Drone Warfare. The article ends with a paragraph about the Lansdale, PA Conference.
Among the experts mentioned are former intelligence officer Christopher Aaron, who did intelligence associated with drone strikes; Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, former Chief of Staff to Colin Powell; and the Rev. Chris Antal, former Army Chaplain who resigned partly over US drone policies.
Each of them spoke at one or more of the 13 regional conferences over the past three years. You are urged to read the article, and continue your work to educate and activate the faith community on this important issue!
Schedule Screening of Free Half Hour Video on Drone Warfare by July 31, 2018!
One specific way you can help, if you haven’t already done so, is to arrange a screening in your faith community of one or more of the five free half hour videos on drone warfare by July 31, 2018.
After that, the funding for receiving the mini-grant of $100 for hosting a screening expires. The videos will remain available, and you are encouraged to continue to schedule screenings. But the grant concludes on July 31.
