PA Mail-In and Absentee Voters Will All Receive Postage-Paid Return Envelope–Request Your Ballot NOW

From Pennsylvania Common Cause: (https://www.commoncause.org/pennsylvania/):

The Pennsylvania Department of State made a huge announcement a late last week — ALL Pennsylvania voters will receive postage-paid return envelopes with their mail-in and absentee ballots.

And, it’s thanks to the work of activists like you across the state — who’ve made phone calls, sent letters, and written letters to the editor in your local newspapers — demanding that our government act to ensure that we can all vote safely this November.

No Pennsylvanian should have to pay for the right to cast a ballot — and by eliminating all costs associated with voting by mail, the Department of State brought us one step closer to ensuring that every voter has access to the polls this November.

Prepaid postage will encourage more voters to take advantage of voting by mail — a safe, secure, and convenient alternative to voting in-person — and it’ll also save voters a trip to the post office to purchase postage.

And, by reducing the likelihood of crowds and long lines on Election Day, it will also protect those voters who choose to cast their ballot in-person in November.

But this is just the beginning — we can’t take our foot off the gas just yet.

To ensure a safe, secure, and accessible election, we also need to: count ballots postmarked by Election Day… send all registered voters mail-in ballots… and fully fund county elections boards so that they can keep poll workers and voters safe.

We must keep fighting until every one of these crucial reforms is made in time for November.

To apply for your mail-in or absentee ballot, visit VotesPA.com and complete the online application or apply for your mail-in-ballot in-person at your local county elections office. Once your application has been approved, you’ll receive your ballot in the mail, which you can return in the included postage-paid ballot return envelope.
