Just last week, Williams took the Sisters to federal court seeking permission to deploy US Marshals to prevent this ceremony from taking place. They lost that case, and our local community responded with a resounding show of support for the Sisters, for the Earth, and for our children’s right to a sustainable future. What happened at this outdoor chapel on Sunday was Williams’ worst nightmare! We are more energized than ever, and we believe this fight is ours to win.
