June is Gun Violence Awareness Month and this month we remember those that we have lost to gun violence and rededicate ourselves to the critical work of gun violence prevention. All across the country, state legislatures including Pennsylvania are attempting to pass dangerous firearm legislation. It is critical that these efforts be defeated, and that evidence based gun violence prevention measures like permit to purchase be implemented so that we do not lose another life to senseless violence.
