Below are two job opportunities with PennFuture, the first a full-time organizing position and the second a request for proposals (RFP) for an agricultural community consultant.
Central PA Field Coordinator: “PennFuture is accepting applications for a Field Coordinator, focused on organizing environmental volunteers in Dauphin and Cumberland Counties, with a particular focus on the Harrisburg metropolitan region. Based in Harrisburg, this position would manage volunteer recruitment, engage and support local advocacy organizations, host and table at events, as well other community building and communications activities. Agriculture Community Consultant: “PennFuture is accepting proposals for a consultant to conduct community and agriculture engagement as part of a multi-organization campaign around the federal Farm Bill. The contract would be for one-year and focused on outcomes related to community engagement and advocacy support around the Farm Bill, a significant piece of federal legislation that’s enacted every 5 years. Community engagement would be geographically focused on north-central Pennsylvania, with additional opportunities to statewide advocacy.
