How to Help Tsunami Survivors in Indonesia

From Oxfam America (http://www.oxfamamerica.org):

The death toll from the earthquake and tsunami has now risen to more than 1,500 people. There are still fears it could rise further.

Access to clean water remains a critical issue. Most of the water supply infrastructure was damaged. Water is being trucked in, but it’s not sufficient to meet the staggering need.

Our teams are working to deliver water treatment and purification units. We’re aiming to reach 500,000 people with essential aid supplies like clean water, hygiene kits, water kits, shelter packs and livelihood support. Please, Sandra: we can’t do this without your help.

Make an emergency donation today at https://secure2.oxfamamerica.org/page/contribute/earthquake-and-tsunami-in-indonesia-donate-now. Help rush food, water, and shelter to survivors.

Thank you for your support. Below is our update from earlier this week – we’ll be in touch as we learn more.
