Become a Grassroots Co-Signer of the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act

From the Economic Policy Institute (http://www.epi.org/):

Since virtually the first day of his administration, Donald Trump and his cabinet have been systematically working to undermine labor protections that have taken a century to build. But together we’re fighting back to strengthen labor unions and raise the wages of all working people.

Now, Rep. Bobby Scott (D-VA) and Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) have introduced the Protecting the Right to Organize (“PRO”) Act. This crucial legislation would provide millions of working people with additional protections to organize and collectively bargain.

The PRO Act would:

  • Penalize employers that interfere with their employees’ organizing efforts;
  • Make explicitly clear that employers cannot interfere with employee unionization voting procedures;
  • Enhance support for worker strikes and boycotts;
  • Close loopholes in federal employment and labor laws.

At a time when CEOs make 270 times that of the average worker, it’s time for lawmakers to stand up and show their support for working people. And this starts with bolstering labor unions and raising the pay of all working people, union and non-union alike.

Join the EPI Policy Center and our partners by becoming a grassroots co-signer of the PRO Act today!

Together, we can tell Congress―loudly and clearly―that we must do more to ensure working families can earn a living wage, have healthy working conditions, and be part of a union that will fight for them.

Thank you for all that you do to demand an economy that works for everyone.
