Project HOME has been working with the Pennsylvania Health Access Network, the Housing Alliance of PA, and the PA Health Law Project, to launch the Housing as Health Coalition to bring together the health and housing communities to advocate for policies that link housing and health. Today, we need you to take the next step in this action.
TAKE ACTION! Do you represent an organization who cares about housing and heath?
We need your organization to formerly endorse the recommendations made in this recently released report, namely:
- Pennsylvania should align its Medicaid state plan with new Federal guidance encouraging states to fund supportive housing services
- Pennsylvania must cover individuals with a primary diagnosis of substance use disorder.
- Pennsylvania should work with managed care entities to integrate housing into a whole-person model of care
- Managed care entities should work with service providers to connect people with services
- Counties should reinvest any cost savings into providing more supportive housing services
