A recent email from Clean Water Action about its newly released 2019-20 Pennsylvania Scorecard points out “democracy works best when you’re armed with the knowledge of your legislators’ actions”.

However, a knowledgeable electorate is only the first part of a successful democracy. The other part is actually making sure you vote. Pennsylvania’s new vote by mail policy allows you the option of exercising your right to vote while continuing to protect your health from concerns with COVID-19. Have you applied yet for your mail-in ballot?

Voting by mail is secure and convenient. You can even track your ballot online to make sure it’s counted. In these uncertain times signing up to receive a vote by mail-in ballot is a great voting safety net. After applying, you’ll receive a ballot in mid-September to fill out in the safety of your own home and return.
