Congress Discussing Agreement to Reduce Drug Prices—Act Now to Urge Them to Act

From the Pennsylvania Health Access Network (http://www.pahealthaccess.org):

Good news!  We’re hearing rumors that Congress is close to reaching an agreement on a new bill that would reduce prescription drugs prices, including allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices!

We’re not sure yet exactly what the legislation will include, but it’s critical that Congress use this opportunity to avoid health insurance price spikes! Health insurance cost savings are set to expire at the end of this year. When that happens, hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians will see the monthly cost of their plans go up for 2023, by an average of over $1000 annually.

Now is a critical moment to make your voice heard!  Can you take 2 minutes and contact your representatives in Congress and ask them to make sure that any new agreement reduces prescription costs and health insurance costs.
