We need your continued action…today.
It is anticipated that by the end of this week, the new presidential administration will sign an executive order announcing significant changes to the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program.
According to the draft executive order, these changes are likely to place a 120-day moratorium on any refugees entering the country, a significant cut to the overall quota of refugees allowed into the U.S. in 2017, and an indefinite ban on refugees from Syria, with the likelihood that refugees from additional countries will also be barred.
The proposed executive order has not yet been signed, which renders change still possible —and your help is needed.
Will you lend your voice now, continue to speak up for the ‘least of these’ and advocate to our national elected officials to stand against the proposed executive order?
