We know we’ve been asking a lot this last week as we tried to defeat SB 621, the bill to arm more school personnel and to open the door to arming teachers. But yesterday both the State House and Senate passed the bill (vote counts here and here), and now it’s going on to the Governor. Normally we are able to defeat these bad bills before they get to the Governor’s desk and we don’t have to ask him to veto legislation. But he needs to hear from us now and we need your help.
Please tell the Governor this bill is misguided and dangerous. It won’t make our kids safer. Ask the Governor to veto SB 621 at https://ceasefirepa.salsalabs.org/Veto/index.html.
